How can I delete my salary information?
When you submit a salary submission, you will receive a confirmation email with a link for deletion.


Are salary details anonymous?
Yes, every salary submission is treated confidentially and displayed separately from any employer rating.

kununu will also never display individual salary details, but always salary bands calculated from all submitted salaries (at least 2 salary data points for a specific job role in a company). In addition, we conceal the upper and lower limits of the band to protect individual salary information within a band.


How do we calculate salary bands?
The salary bands shown are an estimate of the gross annual salaries of comparable positions including possible variable proportions for full-time workers.

The non-binding estimate is based on the use of various statistical methods that were created using the kununu community's salary information.

The salary bands shown are intended to represent the most common salaries. Outliers up or down are not taken into account. Deviations from the salaries the company actually offers are possible.

What do the gray "low" and "high" numbers mean?
This number symbolizes a country / industry salary range and is calculated based on all valid salary information on kununu per country / industry.

Can you hide the salary tab?
The salary tab cannot be hidden. It is displayed on all paid and unpaid profiles.


How much salary information is necessary for a job role in a company to be displayed on the profile?
At least two salary details per job role in a company (within realistic upper and lower limits for that particular job role) must be available in order for it to be displayed on the company's profile.


What kind of proof is required to have a non-existent job role removed by kununu support?
In cases where a company finds salary information on their profile for a role that does not actually exist, we need a written notification from the company to verify this. Job roles that are clearly invalid will be removed as soon as possible.

The request must come from a company email address. Please contact us at support@kununu.us.


What kind of proof do I need to be able to report a false salary submission?
In cases where a company believes there has been false salary information submitted, we need a written notification from the company specifying the salary bands for each rejected job role. This entails the upper and lower limit of the salary band from the official company perspective. This information enables us to check or enrich / adapt the data to be displayed on the company profile.
